The Toronto Skyline at night is beautiful and exciting. Toronto residents understand that most of the skyline images are taken from the Toronto Islands. However, there is a new park called Trillium Park that is located on the east end of Ontario Place, and from this park one can see a very different and very magnificent view of the city of Toronto. Coronation Park in the foreground, yacht harbors, condominiums (I’m so happy to be living in one of the condos in this image), and in the distance the CN Tower and other downtown core buildings.
This image was captured as my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary enjoying sushi and champagne. As we watched the sunset approach and the blue hour set in, the spectacular colors of the mix of city towers were captured using a long-time exposure. The resulting image here displays the beautifully reflected rainbow colors in the calm waters and the brightly lit buildings.
For all visitors to Toronto, I urge you that on your next visit to Toronto, please add a trip to Trillium Park to capture both daylight and sunset marvelous views of the city.
