About Rick

I'm a passionate photographer, and my journey through the lens has spanned over three decades, beginning in Canada's picturesque Niagara Region, where I was born and raised. Presently, I call the vibrant city of Toronto, Ontario, my home base. My passion for photography has led me on a remarkable odyssey to 46 countries and counting, where I've had the privilege of documenting travel experiences, landscapes, the wonders of nature, and architectural marvels.

Through my lens, I immerse myself in the visual tapestry of our magnificent planet, seeking to capture moments that not only inspire me but also serve as windows for others to peer through. Whether I'm focusing on people, cityscapes, landscapes, architectural masterpieces, or the raw beauty of nature, my photography serves as a conduit for my exploration and comprehension of the world that surrounds us.

My photographic style can be characterized as natural, brimming with intricate details and saturated with vibrant hues. It yields images that are not only visually captivating but also possess a dynamic quality that gracefully straddles the line between realism and an artistically enhanced impression of the subject at hand.

Through my art, I aspire to invoke a sense of awe and wonder about the destinations I've had the privilege to document. I aim to ignite curiosity, spark discussions, and ultimately encourage people to add these captivating locations to their travel bucket lists.

My commitment to honing my craft led me to graduate from the Photography Institute, and I take pride in being an accredited member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) with specializations in Architecture and Nature photography. Today, I am a freelance photographer, embarking on a diverse array of assignments. My ongoing journey is driven by the desire to capture the beauty of our remarkable world and share these images with a global audience, allowing others to revel in the splendor that surrounds us.
