Capturing the Full Blue Moon over the Toronto skyline created in me a great deal of anticipation that had been steadily building for weeks. It was an event I had long looked forward to, as this particular lunar occurrence was expected to be notably larger and adorned with a captivating golden hue, and not to be seen again until 2037. However, the primary challenge lay in identifying the optimal location within the sprawling expanse of Toronto to execute the shot.

Relying on my PhotoPills app, I meticulously scoured its digital map, seeking the precise location where the moon's path would align harmoniously with the iconic CN Tower. The day preceding the event, I embarked on a comprehensive reconnaissance of potential sites within the city. This preparatory phase ultimately led me to a forested peninsula on Toronto's Eastern waterfront – an idyllic vantage point for my photographic endeavor.

The morning of the shoot arrived, enveloped in darkness, necessitating the use of a headlamp to navigate. Each step towards the chosen site was marked by a sense of quiet anticipation, punctuated by the crisp morning air. With my equipment in place, I meticulously calibrated my camera settings, striving for that elusive perfect shot.

The pivotal moment finally arrived as the moon, resplendent in its full glory, descended gracefully into the designated position beside the CN Tower. The capture was swift but calculated, as the shutter clicked numerous times, immortalizing the scene. The golden radiance of the early morning sky bathed the cityscape in ethereal light, a testament to my perseverance and meticulous planning.

I take pride in presenting this image as a testament to the culmination of a lot of effort and desire. It serves as a poignant reminder that, through unwavering determination, meticulous preparation, and a touch of serendipity, one can capture the extraordinary amidst the ordinary day to day world around us.
