Shanghai China - one of my all time must see cities. Shown here, Shanghai's Pudong Financial district is an ultra modern financial center. Not long ago it was an empty rice paddy field. Today its architecture is considered some of the most exciting anywhere, including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (with pink spheres).

A city in action. I knew that I needed to have this shot, so I went to one of the best vantage points in the city, a restaurant/bar on top of a hotel located across the river on the Bund. The issue for my evening photoshoot, was the on and off light rain. Having secured some help from my wife and with umbrella's in hand, I was able to get the shot. The resulting image, shows mist, fog and boats navigating the waterway. I think this image represents mysterious and exotic side of Shanghai.
