When you visit the Amalfi Coast and the Town of Positano, you will certainly be seeing and enjoying the beautiful Positano Beachfront. As one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world Positano seems to be in a world all to itself. If you don’t believe me, just visit it and then you’ll know what I mean. This city always had a special place in my heart, especially after I watched the movie “Only You” with Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. – I literally fell in love with it. I knew that when I visited it for my first time (with my wife – the love of my life), I needed to capture as many great images of the city as I could to remember this magical event.
The beautiful blue water, the beach with umbrellas lined up row upon row, and the colourful buildings that seemed to pour down the green mountain sides – WOW! There are so many photo opportunities in this town, one has to make a list to ensure you can get to as many as possible. On my list was a composition that would focus primarily on the beach, water and the core town buildings including the Church’s golden dome.
I needed to look no further than the terrace of the rental apartment that we were staying in. It was perfect. A beautiful scene was right in front of me, including gorgeous colorful flowers that appeared just in the lower portion of the image. I have to admit this series of images was pretty enjoyable to take as I did have a good supply of chilled Italian white wine in the fridge.
I personally have this image in my bathroom and look at it every morning and night and remembering the fabulous time we had visiting the romantic and beautiful Positano Italy. We will be returning here again.
