The Moroccan coastal town of Essaouira is a beautiful fishing town, with beaches, an old town located within its ancient walls, and magnificent sunsets as can be seen in this print. Essaouira is also home to numerous movie shots including the John Wick movies (one of my favorite action flicks). The old walled city is located right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and has many winding streets, artisan shops and restaurants.

On one of the evenings, dinner was at an Italian restaurant located right near the wall. My table on the upper floor had a spectacular view of the sunset. The timing of my arrival was perfect. Just as I arrived and settled into my table, I had enough time to go back out, climb up the city wall, set-up my tripod, and begin taking shots of the setting sun. Just as the sun reached the horizon, it lit up the beautiful swirling clouds and I was able to capture this image. I was then promptly kicked off the wall by security as they close this wall down at sunset.

This canvas print would make a great gift and will look super in a bedroom, living room or office.
