If you love Niagara Falls in the summer, wait until you see my Niagara Falls Frozen Water Photography during the winter. I was visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake which is a small, beautiful town a few miles from Niagara Falls. The snow had been falling heavily over the past several days and wherever you looked the fresh snow was piled high. On the Sunday morning, I awoke to a sunny day with a bright blue sky, and I knew that this was the day to visit the magnificent Niagara Falls to hopefully capture some excellent images.

The drive along the Niagara Parkway is very scenic and takes you by numerous tourist stops. Upon arriving in Niagara Falls, we drove by the falls itself looking for a parking spot. We looked in amazement at the spectacular sight before our eyes. After parking we walked along the Canadian side of the river and we were able to see perfectly the incredible view of ice and snow built up so high on the American Falls. The green-blue of the water and ice, the white of the snow and the blue of the sky, all combined to provide this visual extravaganza. I had never seen anything like this before, it was so unique and exciting. This closer up color version of the image really makes you feel like you are there. This was truly one unique photo opportunity, and I was glad to have made the effort to capture it.
