March 14, 2025, was a night to remember—I had one goal: capture the Full Blood Moon Total Eclipse from start to finish. A total lunar eclipse is a rare celestial event, occurring roughly every three years, but it’s never guaranteed. Weather, location, and timing all play crucial roles. My biggest fear was cloud cover, as even the most well-prepared plans could be ruined by an overcast sky. But luck was on my side—the night was perfectly clear, offering an uninterrupted view of the eclipse.

The journey began at midnight as I set up my camera, adjusting for the moon’s gradual dimming. Over six hours, I watched and photographed the transformation—the bright full moon slowly darkened, turning a deep red as it passed through Earth’s shadow. The biggest challenge was exposure; at totality, the moon emits very little light, requiring precise settings to maintain detail and sharpness. I adjusted my ISO, shutter speed, and aperture meticulously to ensure each phase was captured in stunning clarity.

As the eclipse faded and the moon brightened again, I felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. I had successfully documented every stage of this rare event. The final step was assembling my images into a sequence, showing the eclipse’s full progression.
