Iceland is truly a special place. Its northern latitude provides some very special scenes such as seeing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) or the Milky Way Galaxy. What is even more rare is to be able to see both scenes at the same time. At a remote outpost in South Western Iceland, I was able navigate my steps through the bog, to capture this image of both the Milky Way and the Northern Lights together. In my opinion this is a very rare image as they normally are not seen in photographs together. The image delivers a very dynamic and vibrant color range as the purple of the Milky Way is joined by the luminescent greens of the Aurora Borealis. This was a very special night for me, and with this image I can now vividly remember it forever. I trust it add some great and unique color to your space.
