I’ve always had a deep appreciation for great architecture, so when I was traveling between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, I was absolutely taken aback when we drove past the stunning Capital Gate tower. This building seemed to defy all the rules of architecture, and its sheer presence demanded that I capture it through my lens.

As soon as I spotted the tower, I knew I had to stop and photograph it. The shimmering gold glass against the deep blue sky was nothing short of magnetic. It was as if the building was calling out to me, challenging me to encapsulate its grandeur and elegance in a single frame.

Capital Gate, often referred to as the “Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi,” tilts at an astounding 18 degrees, making it one of the most unique architectural marvels I’ve ever seen. The design is both bold and beautiful, a true testament to what architects and designers can achieve when they push the boundaries of conventional design.

Setting up my camera, I could feel the excitement and anticipation building within me. I wanted to capture not just the physical structure, but the feeling of awe and inspiration it invoked. The way the sunlight glinted off the glass panels, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow, was a sight to behold.

In that moment, I felt connected to the vision and creativity that went into building Capital Gate. I hoped that through my photograph, others could experience the same sense of wonder and inspiration that I did. This image, with its dynamic lines and brilliant colors, is a constant reminder of the incredible feats that human ingenuity can accomplish.

PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY TIME:

3) Shipping is typically by UPS, but other carriers may be used from time to time.

• The finished canvas print is stretched onto 1.5 inch thick wooden stretcher-bars that give it a solid shape, in the same way an oil painting is traditionally assembled. There are no staples or ugly lines visible on the sides (very important).

• We have had our boxes specifically designed to protect your canvas while in shipping. These canvas prints will either come in a plastic bag to keep out moisture and are held securely in the center of the box, or will be shrink wrapped to a pad in order to keep them from moving during transportation.
