Driving on Highway #1 along California’s North Coast has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Steep coastal hills covered in green and gold grasses sloping down to meet the sand and rock beaches of the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean and crashing waves, makes for some awesome scenery. I was driving back to Sonoma one morning, I saw this image showing this famous highway winding along the edge of the coast just north of Jenner, CA. The sunrise was just coming over the hills, the blue water looked spectacular, the green and gold hills were perfectly lit and of course you can see Highway 1 winding its way down the coast. I was lucky to be able to pull over safely on the highway and get the shot.
