The world famous Bixby Canyon Bridge, on the Big Sur coast of California, is one of the most photographed bridges in California due to its aesthetic design, "graceful architecture and magnificent setting". It is a reinforced concrete open-spandrel arch bridge. The bridge is 120 miles (190 km) south of San Francisco and 13 miles (21 km) south of Carmel in Monterey County along State Route 1. This Highway 1 that runs along the Pacific coast of the United States, is incredibly picturesque, and I would think it’s of the most beautiful drives in the world.

With plenty of places to pullover and look at the magnificent scenery, crashing ocean waves and stunning sunsets, this particular stop allowed me the opportunity to capture one of the best views I’ve ever seen. The turquoise water, setting sun giving the bridge and the surrounding coast a warm color, and clear blue sky is the very definition of California Dreaming.
