Home to Beijing's Opera Hall, the National Centre for the Performing Arts is also nicknamed "the Giant Egg". The stunning outer shell is made from glass and titanium plates. The building appears to be floating in a large pool of water, which leads to extensive and beautiful reflections in the water.

Throughout the day, the sun reflects off the buildings outer shell and surrounding water to create an ever-changing visual delight. The Centre contains an opera hall, music hall, theater and art exhibition halls, restaurants and audio shops and is the largest theatre complex in Asia. As an amateur architect, I was delighted to have been able to capture this magnificent building.
