The Autumn season is such a special time of the year in Ontario, Canada. The weather is cool and crisp, the sunlight is bright and you get to wear your favorite fleece jackets, turtlenecks and jeans. Taking time to walk around a small picturesque town that has some small boutique stores then visiting coffee shops and having coffee and a pastry can be so therapeutic. However, in my humble opinion, the best part of Autumn in Ontario is the colors. The glorious colors of the leaves changing everywhere.

Taking walks in a colored forest is truly magical. On one of my photo journeys to capture the colors of Autumn I visited Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, north of Toronto, as it is well known for its fall colors. With camera gear in hand and energy snacks and water to keep up with the physical requirements of hiking up and down the hills for half a day, we came upon this beautiful path through the forest. The depth of colors on this path was all consuming. I intent was to capture the fully leaf covered path and the yellow, gold and green leaves of the forest. To have the sun streaming into the forest just made the scene perfect. I am very happy with the resulting image, as it has great detail and rich colors, and captures the feeling and essence of the moment. When I look at this image, I imagine myself walking down that path fully immersed in Autumn.
